



Children’s Food & Care Fund provided grants to World-Wide Missions Bolivia to assist with operational expenses of its medical clinic in Viacha. Under the direction of Ruben Rocha Peinado, M.D., it has been in operation since 1968. Last year he and his staff of 8 doctors and nurses treated 22,970 patients, including 5,957 children. Another 1,006 children received vaccinations, and 1,835 got special attention for infant nutrition and development problems.
Children’s Food & Care Fund partnered with missionaries serving in Anapolis who are especially concerned for Brazil’s millions of street children and wayward youth. Their tragic plight has created overwhelming social problems with rampant crime, violence, disease, and hopelessness.
Children’s Food & Care Fund contributed toward operating expenses of Shalom Children’s Home in Santo Tomas. At present 70 orphaned boys and girls are cared for, ranging in age from newborns to 18. They receive food, shelter, clothing, medical care, education, and life skills training in a loving environment. The orphanage is affiliated with AMILAT Christian school, kindergarten through 12th grade, with 380 students currently enrolled.
Children’s Food & Care Fund provided funding to World-Wide Missions Liberia to support operation of its 7 Christian schools with 3,278 students and a staff of 191.
Children’s Food & Care Fund shipped a 40-ft sea container filled with clothing and supplies to Centro Cristiano Poder de Dios in Mexico City to benefit suffering children and families. Included were 39,500 lbs of baled clothing, 1,010 lbs of hygiene items, and 867 lbs of infant clothing, quilts, baby formula and supplies. The shipment had a total fair market value of $254,322.
CFCF contributed toward operating expenses of Casa Hogar Douglas, a Christian orphanage in Cuernavaca operated by Israel Lerma. Presently, 40 homeless boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18 are lovingly cared for, receiving food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and a basic education.
Children’s Food & Care Fund provided funds toward the operational support of Mendies Haven, a Christian orphanage in Kathmandu. Presently 32 children are in its care, receiving food, clothing, shelter, a basic education, and the environment of a warm Christian home.
Children’s Food & Care Fund provided support for missionaries in Baguio City serving on the staff of a large Baptist church and helping over 300 boys and girls each month with tutoring, music lessons, and after-school activities. They also make arrangements for needy children to receive medical operations and ongoing treatments.
CFCF contributed toward operating expenses of Home Cherith, a Christian orphanage in Davao City. Currently it provides care for 70 children, ranging from 6 to 18 years of age.
